I am a wildlife photographer as well as an economics professor.

It may seem an odd pairing, but my economics research on the dynamics of market systems (you will find my academic work here, www.seanmcrockett.com) has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the ecological systems within which my photographic subjects live.

Through photography, I attempt to open a window upon how a place works, and relay the emotions I feel in bearing witness to this operation.
